Eagle Pointe lake-front community is a very safe and nice place to call home. One of the things that attracted us to this community was that it has diverse architectural styles while still being protected within covenants that keep the community pleasing. The lots are very large in size and everyone takes pride in keeping them looking neat and well cared for. There is plenty of space on our lot for privacy without being removed from our neighbors. The tranquil deck overlooks a wooded area where we watch many birds, squirrels and the occasional deer browsing while we enjoy the natural gas grill.
The brick on our home was another attraction for us because it is more terra-cotta in color and sets our home apart from many others in our community. Coming in the front door, you get a spacious but cozy feel. The kitchen, breakfast room and great room are open and adjacent to a formal sitting room or office and a formal dining room. The great room is large enough for enjoying a large-screen television with the comfort and convenience of the gas logs when the weather turns cooler. The kitchen has a ton of custom oak cabinets and a center island which provides even more counter and storage space. There is a powder room adjacent to the foyer. The laundry room, which has additional storage, is handily located on the main floor.
The master suite is also located on the first floor and provides a very large bedroom that our king-sized bed doesn’t come close to filling. The private master bath has twin vanities and a large garden tub and a separate shower which we enjoy. The separate water closet area provides an extra bit of privacy. The walk-in closet provides more than adequate space for our clothing.
When out-of-town guests come to stay, they enjoy having two bedrooms and bath on the second floor which let’s them have their privacy at the end of the day.
Often times, homes can have very limited storage, but this is not the case you will find here. Not only are there large closets for each bedroom, there is outstanding walk-in storage space on the second floor that’s accessible though a standard doorway. Plus, there is also a large, unfinished basement that covers the entire footprint of the home that can easily accommodate two large vehicles plus a large bass boat for fishing prized Lake Logan Martin just a couple hundred yards from our driveway. The basement has been roughed-in for additional bath if more finished space is desired.
This home has been well-maintained and will offer someone a great retreat to call home. We would continue to enjoy this special place, but work is requiring us to relocate to another area. Let us encourage you to contact Barry (Lynn) Miller to see this place. You will be pleased you did……
